AK Bark has some really unique pet care items that I haven't found anywhere else. Their prices may be a bit higher than those at a store that's part of a large corporation, but it's a good place to find special items that you need right away. Plus by shopping there, you're supporting a local small business, and the staff are very helpful.

Small cat section, huge dog section. Oh my gods the amazing alaska treats. Cbd treats. And there's a whole dog bakery. They even have the little protect your puppy vests. Absolutely amazing store, fantastic vibe, points system. I cannot tell you how amazing this store is. Go to fireweed and look for the building with fireweed on the building.

A really brilliant store! I am so sick of the big box stores so I was glad to find this store, and I found it thanks to the gorgeous mural on the building. (What is the artist’s name who painted it?) Art sells! I needed booties for winter and they had a huge selection, and I also got a couple adorable cookies from the barkery. Will return whenever we come to Anchorage.

I am proud to say the owner of AK Bark is my brother and an incredible human being. He loves his job, his customers and all fur babies. My daughter and I recently took in in two abandoned pups 8 weeks old who we found out had parvo which is life threatening. 3 days in the ER one is home and praying for the other. Needless to say the vet bill is enormous so we started a go fund me to help. The first and only one to contribute was Mark with no hesitation. I cannot tell you how grateful we are and how proud I am of my little brother. Thank you Mark from the bottom of my heart. Your loving sister Deb

Cute pet store in Anchorage. If you need anything for your outdoor adventures you can probly find it here. All looks to be high quality. Lots of specialty pet food and treats as well. Friendly staff. My daughter wanted to visit this store to get a gift/treat for her dog.

Such a fun store! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a nice variety of dog supplies from treats to leashes, water dishes to toys, coats to collars, and everything in between. This is a great store for all your furry friends!

Visiting from Seattle and stopped in to get some warm clothing for little Milo.. Lots to choose from for 2.7# puppies. Usually hard to find anywhere else. Milo loved the toy selection 🐶 Staff was super helpful and friendly ❤️ Great selection for whatever you might be looking for and they support local!💙💙

Wonderful selection on everything for dogs small to large, staff in knowledgeable and friendly Got the winter booties that velcro and have an upper drawstring to double secure on your dog 🐕 This is Teddy!! He was freshly groomed so got him a nice fleece cover jacket
